ABOUT

Education

I graduated from Gloucester in 2018 with a BSc (Hons) degree in Sports Therapy.

Experience

During my degree, I completed an internship at Cinderford R.F.C gaining lots of knowledge and insight both clinically and pitchside within the rugby environment. Since graduating I further developed these skills through experience by working with Hungerford Town Football Club to ensure the players remain at full fitness. I have also assisted pitchside for Swindon Wildcats Ice Hockey and clinically for Hungerford Town F.C. Academy.

I have also provided sports massage for the London marathon for a charity ‘children with cancer’, as well as, working at multiple events providing first aid such as stow under 8s Gloucestershire rugby festival, Devil Mud Run and Bourton 10k.

Since 2018 I started working at Back2Fitness, Swindon, where I have gained hundreds of hours of clinical experience, treating a wide variety of patients.

Alongside the clinical based environment, ALS Sports Therapy is also a mobile Sports Therapy service located in the Cheltenham. Through the mobile service I treat a wide variety of people:

- All ages: To date, the youngest person I have treated was a 16 year old and the eldest was a 86 year old.

- Athletes: From amateur to semi-professional. It's worth noting that a large proportion of my clients are not athletes but everyday individuals that seek out guidance and treatment from an injury sustained from a non-sporting incident.
